Annotation: Hamidulla Dadaboyev is a leading scientist of Uzbek linguistics, the founder of military linguistics, the main researcher of the history of the Uzbek language, a scientist who developed the field of Uzbek lexicology. In this article, the life and scientific activity of Hamidulla Dadaboyev, who has an important place in the development of Uzbek linguistics, his main scientific works and his scientific discoveries and development of new approaches in Uzbek linguistics; the contribution to the development of new directions in Uzbek linguistics such as computer linguistics, corpus linguistics, lexicography and terminology is discussed.
