Annotation: This article discusses the methodology for investigating crimes committed by a suspect, accused or accused as a result of deviation from the limits of necessary defense by a representative of power or a person performing a civic duty, and its features. In addition, the article describes the measures that should be taken in preparation for the production of investigative actions in cases of evasion by a representative of the Authority or a person performing a civic duty from the necessary limits of defense, the choice of tactics used during the investigation, inquiry. issues such as the use of tactical methods appropriate to the situation are covered in detail. Based on the conclusions drawn as a result of the study, a number of proposals and recommendations were made to the national legislation.
