Annotation: The study of the word-formation system of the Russian language in the light of the modern linguistic paradigm is relevant, since without knowledge of the history of formation of these or other processes of word formation is impossible to imagine their current state. The problems of word formation partly begin studied in connection with the creation of a scientific grammar of the Russian language. M.V. Lomonosov was the first in Russian linguistics to give a detailed description of the means of word formation, thus having a great influence on its development.
