Annotation: The article is devoted to the study of traditional headdresses as an important element of the ethnic culture of the Uzbeks. The work examines various sources of information, including archaeological finds, ethnographic descriptions, artistic images and written sources, which allow us to reconstruct the features and evolution of headdresses. The author analyzes the functions and symbolism of headdresses, their social significance, as well as regional differences. Particular attention is paid to how headdresses reflect cultural interactions, historical processes and the ethnic identity of the Uzbek people.
