Annotation: This article analyzes the philosophical foundations of the decline of political idealism in international relations in the late of the 20th century from a socio-political point of view. In addition, it examines the reasons for the decline of the role of political idealism in international relations due to the transition to more pragmatic and realistic approaches under the influence of historical events such as the Cold War, globalization and the rise of nationalism, rather than focusing on moral and spiritual considerations in global politics, and aims to summarize through various scientific works and the materials.
