Annotation: This article provides a comparative analysis of derivational processes in the syntactic and morphological structure of English and Uzbek word combinations. An important aspect of the evolution of linguistics, derivation is studied to reveal similarities and differences in how both languages create new words and phrases. In the research, a cross-linguistic approach is used to study the main mechanisms and shed light on the linguistic complexities that contribute to the richness of the lexical systems of the English and Uzbek languages. Derivatives aim to enhance our understanding of the linguistic dynamics involved in word formation and to understand the unique features that distinguish these two languages.
