Annotation: In this article, linguocognitive analysis of phraseological units with "character" semal in English and Uzbek was carried out. Within the framework of the study, phraseological units in both languages were compared structurally and semantically, identifying their distinctive features. According to the results of the analysis, phraseological units of "character" in English and Uzbek languages play an important role in expressing various aspects of human character, and their linguistic cognitive analysis helps to improve inter-linguistic communication.
