Annotation: This study is devoted to the analysis of the economic costs incurred in the process of learning the Chinese language and the benefits it adds to the development of human capital. With China's global economic growth and increasing leadership role in international trade, knowledge of the language has become a highly valued skill in the international job market for professionals. The study looked at the investment, time and other resources that go into learning Chinese. Also, the influence of language skills on personal and professional development, expanding career opportunities, earning higher salaries, and developing cultural and linguistic competences was analyzed. The results show that, despite the initial costs, learning the Chinese language serves a significant increase in human capital, both economically and socially. This study shows the need for strategic planning and the formation of a financial support system to increase the effectiveness of language learning.
