Annotation: The World Trade Organization (WTO) plays a significant role in shaping global intellectual property rights (IPR) standards. This article examines the challenges and opportunities presented by the regulation of intellectual property rights within the WTO framework. By analyzing the impact of TRIPS Agreement (Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) on member countries, this study highlights the complexities of balancing innovation incentives and access to essential goods and services. Furthermore, the article explores the evolving landscape of IPR issues in the context of technological advancements and discusses potential solutions to address the concerns of developing countries in the WTO.
