Annotation: In this article, the following problems from the department of electrostatics were solved using reasoning: A metal ring was torn apart by Coulomb forces when the charge of the ring was equal to Q. They made exactly the same new ring, but from a material whose strength was 10 times greater. What charge will break the new ring? Determine the charge that will break a new ring made of the same material if all dimensions of the new ring are 10 times larger than the dimensions of the old one. A point charge q0 was placed at the center of a thin wire ring with radius R and charge q. Determine the increment in the force that stretches the ring. Check the possibility of circular motion with a constant speed of a point electric charge around a fixed point electric dipole. A nonpolar molecule is located on the axis of a thin uniformly charged ring of radius R. Investigate the stability of the position of the molecule depending on its distance from the center of the ring. This method gave good results on these tasks.
