Annotation: This article examines the use of geodetic terminology in the Uzbek and Russian languages, analyzing the processes of borrowing, adaptation, and standardization of specialized terms in the context of bilingual scientific and technical communication. The study demonstrates the influence of historical, linguistic, and cultural factors on the formation of national terminology in the fields of geodesy and cartography.
