Annotation: The article examines the problem of borrowed vocabulary in modern language, analyzes the causes and methods of borrowing, their influence on the development of language. The main types of borrowings, their adaptation and functioning in the recipient language are studied. Particular attention is paid to the issues of the appropriateness of using borrowings and their role in enriching the vocabulary of the language.
