Annotation: Jafar Muhammad Termezi is a renowned contemporary bilingual poet and one of the modern and postmodern poets. His poems, created in Persian-Tajik and Uzbek languages, deeply reflect philosophical and Sufi content. He is a poet who describes love, humanity life and nature in a marvelous way. So far, about twenty collections of poems and books of the philosopher poet have been published in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Iran and translated into several languages. Jafar Muhammad Termezi's poems harmoniously combine classical and modern poetry, tradition and innovation, artistry and philosophy. This article discusses the issue of harmony of artistic and philosophical thinking of Jafar Muhammad Termezi on the basis of his poem “Handasai imro 'z” (“Geometry today”), which is written in Persian-Tajik language.
