Annotation: The article deals with the problems of the legal culture of the population. The legal illiteracy of the population, the inconsistency of legal documents, the underdevelopment of the rule of law are the causes of the legal nihilism of the citizens of Uzbekistan. To solve these problems, it is necessary to take various measures aimed at increasing the legal awareness and legal culture of society.
