Annotation: Algeria gained independence in 1962, and these processes occurred as a result of the national liberation wars that lasted from 1954 to 1962. After gaining independence, Algeria faced a number of problems in public administration, politics, and economics. Problems such as restoring the losses of 132 years of colonial rule, unemployment, poverty, and war devastation led to the exodus of 80 percent of Europeans and 30 percent of Algerians. The majority of this exodus was highly educated, consisting of technicians, teachers, doctors, engineers, and small businessmen, who took with them whatever equipment, equipment, capital, and valuable documents they could. 90 percent of Algeria's citizens, including entrepreneurs and intellectuals, left the country. Due to these problems that arose in the early years of Algerian independence, the government encouraged migration. The remittances of migrants and migrant workers were seen as a solution to economic difficulties. In particular, after independence, there was an increase in the number of people migrating from Algeria and the amount of foreign remittances.
