Annotation: The article analyzes the historical, political, and economic causes of migration processes in Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt. In Algeria and Tunisia, migration began primarily during the period of French colonization and intensified due to industrialization, wars, and political instability. In Egypt, migration became active from the 1970s with the oil policy and the “open-door” policy. The Arab–Israeli conflicts and the “Arab Spring” revolutions also contributed to the increase in migration. The article broadly covers internal and external migration, the movement of labor resources, and diaspora activities.
