Annotation: Determining the parameters of moving beds and velocity in the channel bottom is important in solving problems associated with the design and operation of many earth channels. To date, a lot of field and laboratory data have been obtained on the movement of gradations occurring in the earth channels of the world. Some authors have tried to generalize this information, but so far they have not been able to achieve completely reliable results. That is why the researchers made new proposals to improve the previously obtained formulas. A comparison of the experimental and calculated gradation values showed that they are satisfactorily close.
