Annotation: The cultivated local form of carp in the fisheries of our republic consists of descendants of Ukrainian and Hungarian carp. Although carp prefer to feed on bottom organisms, they also readily eat grain and other plant foods. The attitude towards carp, which is of great hunting importance, as an object of hunting, has changed greatly after the appearance of lakes in which bluish water is collected. The introduction of pasture-based aquaculture technology has further increased the importance of carp.
