Annotation: The tragedy of the Aral Sea is a problem that did not arise today, but in the 70s-80s of the last century, the government, not taking into account the peculiarities of the soil structure of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, pursued a policy of sowing various agricultural crops on this land, in particular cotton and other grain crops that require a lot of water. In connection with this, the problems of the Aral Sea began to arise. The problems of the Aral Sea today are not only the people living around the sea, but also those who were born on the land of Karakalpakstan, but this is the problem of all mankind.
