Annotation: The formation and development of the real estate market requires the search and study of various management systems. The experience of world practice shows that the use of professional methods of real estate portfolio management is necessary to increase the efficiency of its use. The article discusses the development of the service as an effective tool for real estate management in modern conditions. The features of the concept of maintenance are also given. Shows the evolution of the concept of "surveyor" from land affairs to real estate management.
