Annotation: Currently, there are many technologies that can be used to generate electricity around the world. In addition to electricity, industrial heat is also very important in countries with a sub-temperate climate such as Poland. In Poland, condensing power plants and thermal power plants dominate. These power plants are mainly fired by coal, lignite and biomass. Condensing power plants and CHP power plants differ in the method used to cool the steam and use the waste heat. As a result of the rapid development of the economy, the demand for energy resources is increasing. In this regard, the work carried out in the coal mining industry serves not only the economical use of natural resources, but also the provision of solid fuel to the population.
