КОННОТАТИВНЫЙ ХАРАКТЕР НАЗВАНИЙ ДИКИХ ЖИВОТНЫХ В УЗБЕКСКОЙ ЛИНГВОКУЛЬТУРЕ

Author: Латипов, О.Ж.

Annotation: This article is devoted to the linguocultural interpretation of the zoonymic image around the thematic field “wild animals” based on phraseological and paremiological units of the Uzbek language. It examines both denotative and connotative meanings of the names of wild animals, since it was their primary names that contributed to the formation of figurative meanings. The scope of this work includes only those names of animals that served to form the phraseological fund of the Uzbek language. From an anthropocentric point of view, the quantitative and qualitative composition of clichéd units with a zoonym component directly depends on the appearance, size, behavior and other indicators of an animal, as well as on the relationship of a person to the animal world. Consequently, the closer it is to a person, the more functions it performs, the more phraseological units and proverbs there should be with its name. This article also reflects an analysis of scientific works that are directly related to the issue of zoonymic vocabulary in the Uzbek language. In order to more fully disclose the connotative nature of zoonym words and to count the number of figurative expressions from the names of wild animals, the method of component and statistical analysis was used in the work.

Keywords: denotation, component, connotation, image, linguoculturalism, paremia, phraseology.
