Annotation: The present article conducts an analysis of how the image of parents is reflected in Uzbek and Korean folk proverbs. In the oral traditions of both peoples, the concepts of respect for parents, upbringing, and gratitude hold significant importance. The article further aims to identify cultural similarities and differences by comparing Korean and Uzbek proverbs, thereby highlighting the educational significance of folk oral traditions.
