Author: Khushnazarova, Damira

Annotation: This article deals with the difference between abstract nouns in the Uzbek and Russian languages, not only in the size and volume of their lexical-semantic content, but also in the nature of its representation. It is this feature of practical importance that makes it possible to divide abstract nouns into functional and emotional types in terms of style, as well as their correct and appropriate use in speech.

Keywords: lexical-grammatical characteristics, abstract nouns, theology, epistemology, cognitivism, non-verbal factors.
