Annotation: This article discusses the Machai Cave, located in Uzbekistan and known as a sacred place. The Machai Cave is one of the most important monuments distinguished by its natural and geographical location, religious and historical significance. The article discusses the etymological concepts of the cave's name, its place in folk beliefs, its harmony with nature and its significance for archaeological research. The historical roots, architectural structure, state of preservation and modern role of the Machai Cave will also be analyzed.
