Annotation: The peculiarities of the information age, the intensification of ideological and domestic aggression have repeatedly increased the importance of social sciences. Some political movements and forces in the world are discovering new methods and tools, trying to expand their circle of influence on nationalism, morality, religious extremism, chauvinism, neo-fascism, racism, separatism, export of democracy, Western mass culture. The article describes the role of social sciences and humanities in ideological activities, the importance for future specialists to develop skills of logical and critical thinking.
