Annotation: This article examines the importance of scientifically grounded sexual (gender-related) education in the preschool education system. The study analyzes the impact of sexual education on children’s personal development, self-awareness, and future social adaptation. Particular attention is paid to methodological and organizational shortcomings in preschool institutions, including the neglect of gender-specific characteristics, improper organization of the learning environment, unbalanced selection of toys, and stereotyped educational practices. Drawing on the theoretical perspectives of S. Freud, L. S. Vygotsky, Avicenna (Ibn Sina), Imam al-Ghazali, and UNESCO policy documents, the article substantiates the decisive role of early childhood in the formation of gender identity. The findings emphasize the necessity of implementing a systematic, differentiated, and scientifically based approach to sexual education in preschool settings.

Keywords: sexual education, gender identity, preschool education, early childhood development, pedagogical environment, socialization, personal boundaries, psychological development.
