Annotation: The article talks about the initiatives put forward by the leaders of the Central Asian countries in the Consultative Meetings, their content and essence, in order to develop close neighborly and mutually beneficial cooperation relations between the Central Asian countries and to strengthen the security and stability in the region. At the same time, the meaning of the concept of “people’s diplomacy”, the importance of “people’s diplomacy” in maintaining peace in the world, developing interstate relations and establishing friendly relations between different peoples were discussed.
