Annotation: The region of Central Asia is historically and strategically a very important territory which, although it is located only at the center of international politics, plays a major role in the interactions between countries and regional powers. In recent years, this region has once again become the center of attention in global geopolitical dynamics, as it is considered by various countries in terms of economic, energy and security, including China, Russia and the United States, as an important opportunity to advance their strategic interests. Central Asia is also geographically critical to China's regional ambitions, especially within the framework of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) megaproject. However, there are also significant geopolitical issues and risks associated with the implementation of this mega-project.
