Annotation: Multi-tiered dispute resolution means that the problem is considered between the parties in several stages, using various alternative methods of resolving the dispute. In cases where various alternative methods of dispute resolution do not work, arbitration is the last step. The multi-tier dispute resolution process usually consists of negotiations, mediation, expert identification, and arbitration. Multi-tier dispute resolution can also be applied to disputes within free economic zones.
