Annotation: Mediation is a widely recognized form of legal dispute resolution, which has received great attention in recent years. This article aims to study the theoretical and practical aspects of mediation as a unique form of legal dispute resolution. Theoretical issues related to mediation, including its basic principles and theoretical foundations, are examined for a comprehensive understanding of its foundations. In addition, practical considerations such as the role of mediators, the mediation process, its advantages and limitations are discussed. This article seeks to contribute to the existing body of literature on mediation through an in-depth analysis of its theoretical foundations and practical significance. It aims to inform future research in this area by highlighting key issues and providing insights into this form of conflict resolution.
