Annotation: This article examines opinions and reasoning related to the right to work, which underlies the welfare state model. In particular, the right to decent work, the right to freely choose a profession and type of activity, the right to work in conditions that meet the requirements of safety and hygiene, the right to fair remuneration for work without any discrimination and not lower than the established minimum wage, the right to protection from unemployment in accordance with the procedure established by law are considered., the right to vocational training and retraining, the prohibition of forced labor and any form of child labor, the right to rest, as well as the right to work with limited working hours. The importance of these rights for building a social state is shown.
