Annotation: This article examines international experience in digitalization, the need to regulate different types of assets, various approaches to legalization, and further issues of legal regulation of assets in the digital economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Modern economic and investment trends should be studied by legal scholars and analyzed by civil society and academic circles through the prism of international private law. The main purpose of the article is to identify jurisdictional ambiguities, conflict of laws and fragmented supervision that create obstacles to the competent management of cross-border finance that are absent in decentralized networks. The authority to regulate share trading remains contested between national and subnational regulators, resulting in duplication of compliance efforts that are estimated to cost investors large sums of money.
