Annotation: This article shows the issues of the impact of English borrowings on Russian language, justified by the historical factors of the formation of Russian speech. Certain reasons for borrowing have been identified. The influence of Western street culture is proven by examples, and the use of borrowings in speech is stylistically motivated.
