Annotation: This article is devoted to the study of effective methods of teaching phraseological units in national groups. The features of perception of phraseological units by representatives of different cultures are considered, traditional and innovative teaching methods are analyzed, and practical recommendations for optimizing the educational process are offered. Particular attention is paid to the linguacultural aspect and the problem of intercultural communication in the study of phraseological units.
