Annotation: This article examines how historical figures, particularly Jalal ad-Din Mankburni, are used in promoting national ideas in Uzbekistan. Jalal ad-Din Manguberdi, as a historical hero of the Uzbek people, played an important role in shaping national identity and ideas. An analysis was conducted of how the image of Manguberdi was reworked in New Uzbekistan and the significance of this image in strengthening national ideas. This study also examines the integration between the Manguberdi legend and its true historical role, as well as the impact of this integration on Uzbek youth. The article highlights the effectiveness of using historical images of national heroes in strengthening the national identity and spiritual values of modern Uzbekistan.
