Annotation: In this article, the author described the historical and philosophical roots of national values, the importance of spiritual heritage in the development of society, the development of national identity based on the education of young people in the spirit of national values, the development factors based on national values, the methodological foundations of the promotion of spiritual heritage, which are being studied by today's Uzbek spiritual scientists and the reforms being implemented.
