Annotation: In order to reach the highest heights of development, every country pays special attention to the field of education and national mentality in this process, regularly acquaints its people with modern scientific technologies and achievements. In reality, the fate of development is decided by the citizens who are spiritually mature, who possess modern knowledge and complex technologies, who are faithful to their national values, who have full faith, strong will, who think deeply, who have high potential, who have independent thoughts. In this regard, the decisions and decrees adopted on the basis of our rapidly developing country, which is taking a step forward from national revival to national growth, and the high attention paid to our traditional performance and national values in the field of education, serve as the basis. Taking these aspects into account, our article discusses the practical and scientific theoretical foundations of improving the professional competence of students of music education in traditional singing.
