Annotation: This article examines the ancient interest in flowers, floriculture traditions, and the history of the formation of the “Flower Festival” in Namangan based on scientific sources and historical evidence. In particular, the development of floriculture in the Namangan region since the time of the Baburians, the rise of this tradition to a new level in the 19th-20th centuries, the activities of local and foreign florists, as well as the process of the formation of the Flower Festival as a mass festival and festival since 1961 are analyzed. The study also reveals the role of the Flower Festival in the development of national values, cultural heritage, and tourism.
