Author: Yusupov, Rustam Eshpulatovich

Annotation: This article provides detailed information on how to estimate measurement errors and determine the true size. The theory of measurements and elimination of measurement errors is one of the important aspects of metrology. The article describes the concepts of true value and true value according to UzDSt 8.010.1:2002 standard. The true value is the ideal value obtained by eliminating all measurement errors. The true value is the value obtained as a result of the experiment and is the closest to the true value. The article analyzes the errors that occur during the measurement of a 40 mm long roller. In this process, 50 repeated measurements were made and the average arithmetic value was calculated. The actual value is determined based on the measurement results. Also, the measurement results were divided into different intervals and a value closer to the true size was determined. In the article, the most suitable intervals are selected, and a value closer to the true size is determined through their average arithmetic values. Through graphical analysis, these values are shown visually, and methods of determining the value closest to the true size are discussed. This research is important for minimizing measurement errors and determining accurate dimensions, and provides useful information for metrology professionals and engineers. The article shows the importance of calculation of arithmetic mean values and statistical analysis methods as a result of repeated measurements. This plays an important role in reducing measurement errors and determining the closest value to the true size.
