Annotation: In this article, the concept of modernization of the higher education system and its three directions are discussed. Fundamental reforms have been implemented in our country in recent years. Large-scale renewal and initiatives are being carried out in the field of radical renewal of state and community management, modernization of the social sphere. On this basis, it was pointed out that in the future of our country there will be a great need for talented and promising, qualified and competitive professional personnel, and the reforms in the system of science and education in Uzbekistan are being renewed.
