Annotation: The simple and express method of spectrophotometric determination lead(II) ion by using of disodium salt of 5-methyl-2-methoxy-4-sulfophenylazo-2'-hydroxy-6'-naphthalenesulfonic acid (HR) was proposed. It was show, that reagent interacts with lead(II) ion and forms the complex of composition Pb-HR=1:2. Optimal conditions of lead(II) ion determination were determines. Physico-chemicals parameters, obtained statistical results are presented. The developed method was used, to for analysis of lead(II) in industrial sample.
