OQ AMUR (CTENOPHARYNGODON IDELLA) BALIG‘INING BIOEKOLOGIK XUSUSIYATLARI

Annotation: The white amur (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is a species of the cyprinid family. The white amur was brought from China in 1960-1961, introduced to the conditions of pond fisheries in Uzbekistan and acclimatized in the Amu Darya basin. It is a large, fast-growing fish. Its body is torpedo-shaped and elongated, covered with large scales. The white amur feeds on higher aquatic plants. In our conditions, the white amur reaches sexual maturity mainly at the age of 4-5 years.
