Annotation: The selected thrush species (blackbird - Turdus merula L.) is an interesting object for study. The development of anthropogenic and urbanized landscapes, as well as artificial plantations of forests, led to a significant secondary expansion of the range of this species. The paper provides information on the nesting abundance of the thrush in the study area, on the timing of their reproduction, the nature of the location of the nests and the building material used by birds in the construction of the nest, as well as morphological characteristics of eggs, duration of incubation and feeding of chicks.
Keywords: thrush, abundance, reproduction, nest, incubation, rearing of chicks.
