Annotation: Economics students face unique challenges in acquiring language competence, which is a key factor for effective communication in academic and professional settings. This study explores these challenges from linguistic, contextual, and pedagogical perspectives. A mixed-method approach was used to identify key challenges, including limited exposure to specialized vocabulary, insufficient integration of language instruction into economics courses, and varying levels of English proficiency. The results suggest that targeted interventions, such as interdisciplinary collaboration and customized language programs, can significantly enhance communication skills. These strategies are essential to enable students to clearly express complex economic concepts and effectively participate in global discussions.
