Annotation: The necessity of teaching critical thinking in Russian language lessons to high school students using the Uzbek language of instruction is substantiated. The features of organizing work on the formation of critical thinking among high school students in Uzbek-teaching schools are listed. A methodology is proposed for determining the effectiveness of using well-known methods of teaching critical thinking in Uzbek-teaching schools.
