Annotation: From the first years of independence, relations in the political, economic and military fields began to develop closely between Uzbekistan and the United States. In 1992, the ambassadors of the two countries were accredited in Tashkent and Washington. Over the past period, a number of high-ranking representatives of the US government have visited Uzbekistan. An important event was the meeting of the Presidents of Uzbekistan and the United States.
