Annotation: The work is devoted to studying the effectiveness of filtration paper materials for purifying air from quartz dust. The effectiveness of hydrophobic paper materials was studied depending on the following factors affecting air purification performance. These include the specific surface area of the dust, the air filtration rate, the relative porosity of the filtration material, the concentration of quartz dust and air humidity. The study of the process of air purification from dust was carried out using experimental planning methods on a non-motorized installation. As a result of static processing of experimental data, mathematical models of response functions were obtained, that is, specific dust holding capacity and dust transmission coefficient of various filtration materials. Significant and insignificant factors influencing the process of air purification from quartz dust have been identified.
