OʻZBEK ISMLARIDA EVFEMIZATSIYA VA UNING DISFEMIZATSIYALASHUVIGA OID MUAMMOLAR

Author: Kadirova, Xurshida

Annotation: Despite various scientific theories and history of study, the meaning and nature of anthroponymy as a system remains an urgent problem for onomastics. Onomastics in general and anthroponyms in particular have long been considered peripheral elements of language and language theory. Modern scientists admit that it has semantics and some internal laws of anthroponymy, although it is unique in many ways. The nature of this systematicity also depends on the constraints taken into account, such as cross-linguistic variants of the same name. The naming system of a particular social stratum may not be typical of the naming systems of other families and dynasties. The article analyzes the history of names on the territory of Uzbekistan, their dictionary meaning and speech criteria associated with perception. In particular, examples of dysphemization of euphemistic names are given and the question is clarified. The author proposes to exclude such names from the dictionary of Uzbek names and group defamized names using the classification method.

Keywords: names, forbidden names, euphemism, dysphemism, Arabic name, Uzbek name, mental characteristic.
