Annotation: This article discusses the organization of the prosecutor's offices in the Uzbek SSR, which exercised control over the implementation of laws, their activities in the early years, problems in providing personnel, the activity of the prosecutor's offices during the years of political repression, changes in the prosecutor's system, adopted legal acts, repressed leaders and employees, their participation in protecting the rights of the population in difficult conditions, and their activities during the Second World War. In addition, an analysis of data related to the activities of the prosecutor's offices in exercising control over legislation during this period is presented.
